Oana wildlife reserve is 45,000 hectares of breath-taking mountainous semi-desert encompassing 50km of the lush Orange River; a paradise refuge amid the extensive hues of orange and red rocky plains forging the remarkable Nama Karoo biome.
What We do
We are a conservation organisation with Oana Community Development Fund, our charity currently in formation. Our aim is to ecologically restore ex farmland in Southern Namibia by various conservation projects. In order for our conservation projects to continue we lead 4-week adventure conservation expeditions in for anyone who is seeking a wilderness refuge. Our initiative aims to inspire fellow sapiens to play an important role in our planet and actively involve themselves in wildlife conservation. Our programs are a mix of conservation (manual work and research), community development, adventure endeavours and ultimate relaxation. The quintessential opportunity for anyone seeking to escape the grid and embark on an extraordinary journey.
In 2018, we will host our first School Expeditions, watch this space if you are interested in booking a school trip.
